The simulation results show that amyloidogenic peptides fibrillate on the surface of the vesicle, damaging the bilayer and promoting leakage. The lipid particles are shown in gray while the peptide monomers are shown in color, and the particles inside the vesicle (which emulate the components of the cytoplasm) are shown in red.
