• Summary:

Aymeric Dolbois obtained his two Master’s degrees in Organic Synthesis and Medicinal Chemistry at Ecole Nationale Superieure de Chimie de Mulhouse, Haute-Alsace University, France in 2014. In 2018, he completed his Ph.D. involving design, synthesis and biological evaluation of small molecules as bromodomain inhibitors as well as new chemical entities (PROTACs, fluorescent probes, photocage molecules) under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Cristina Nevado at the University of Zürich.

Fascinated by Medicinal Chemistry and intrigued by RNA-protein interactions, he started a Post-Doc in the group of Prof. Dr. Amedeo Caflisch (University of Zürich), working on Epitranscriptomics (2019).

Aymeric’s research focus on the design and synthesis of small molecules as key regulators of epitranscriptomic mechanisms.

Dr. Aymeric Dolbois was a member of the Caflisch group from 01/2019 - 08/2021.
