Francesco obtained his degree in Pharmaceutical Chemistry and Technologies at the University of Salerno, Italy, in 2017, working on structure based drug design and virtual screening. In the same year, he joined Prof. Piotto research group at the University of Salerno, pursuing a PhD in Pharmaceutical Sciences, mainly focusing on the development of antimicrobial coatings for medical devices. He is also currently enrolled in a Master of Advanced Studies in Translational Medicine and Biomedical Entrepreneurship at sitem-insel, Bern.
He joined Prof. Caflisch group in January 2020 as guest PhD student to work on a virtual screening project.
